Epileptic seizures can cause extreme harm for patients, with the ability to totally interrupt their life. Their stories are taken over by a powerful force that completely alters the trajectory of everything it touches. How can we truly show the enormous impact that a seizure can have on somebody?

Our film uses a seismograph to represent a seizure and its overpowering nature, and is placed in environments where real patients with epilepsy have suffered a seizure. These patients are filmed in a space surrounded by a range of prints of patient stories being overtaken by the large, frantic lines of a moving seismograph to emphasise how seizures interrupt patient stories.
